NZQA Unit Standards 25458, 25511, 32327, 32328 - workplace Drug Testing

At the training day
You will be trained to :

Urine Unit Standards (Full day course)
 25458 : Perform urine specimen collection in the workplace
25511 : Perform urine drug screening in the workplace
 as per the joint  AS/NZS 4308:2008


Oral Fluids Unit Standards (Full day course)
32327 :  Perform oral fluids  specimen collection in the workplace
32328 : Perform oral fluids drug screening in the workplace
as per the joint AS/NZS 4760:2019

DrugChek has an approved NZQA subcontractor (Anne – Louise Anderson) who can deliver this training. Anne-Louise has a sub-contracting agreement with Safety n Action, a private training establishment registered with NZQA to deliver and assess unit standards 25511, 25458, 32327 & 32328. This sub-contracting agreement has been approved by NZQA. Unit standards and   reported to NZQA by Safety ‘n Action. 
Ann-Louise is  renowned as an excellent trainer with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the field of Drug and Alcohol testing which she shares with you during these courses.

Urine :
The two courses consist of  Unit Standards:
 25458  :  Perform Urine Specimen Collection in
                the Workplace for drug testing  (Level 3,
                2 credits)

25511 :   Perform urine drug screening in the
               workplace  (Level 4, 4 credits)

You are required to attend  the Urine based course with a copy of the AS/NZS 4308:2008 Workplace Drug Testing Standard.



Oral Fluids : 
The two courses consist of  Unit Standards:
32327  :  Perform Oral Fluids  Specimen Collection in
                the Workplace for drug testing  (Level 3,
                2 credits)

32328 :   Perform Oral Fluids  drug screening in the
               workplace  (Level 4, 4 credits)
You are required to attend  the oral fluids  based course with a copy of the AS/NZS 4760:2019 Oral Fluids Workplace Drug Testing Standard

 
Auckland based training is run monthly while courses in other main centres  are run nationally on a  2-3 monthly basis dependent on demand.
Course runs  for a  full day  9.30am to 3.30pm
Cost per person is $700 + GST

These  NZQA Unit Standards are absolutely essential for any staff completing random, post-accident,  or just cause testing for those already in the workplace (under contract)
 
It has been proven that  those  completing  the course (regardless of how long they  may have been drug screening) feel more empowered and confident in their roles….with  the further education and insight into the whole process and of course as an end result they are  “certified” collectors: to the  AS/NZ 4308:2008  and or  AS/NZS 4760:2019 Standard  with NZQA  Credits (6 for each course) which bodes  well with clients/prospective clients.

On course completion, you are issued with a  Certificate of Competence/Statement of Attainment. in the two Unit Standards you have completed.
